Locket/ScreenPop - Android Apps For Turning Lock Screen Into Messaging Client

LOCKET is a start up Android App which helps in making your lock screen useful and it is living up to it's reputation with ScreenPop . Like the other messaging apps, there is no need of opening new app to send and receive photos. In this you can easily choose photos and notes right from your lock screen to send to your friends, when they unlock their phones next time it will greet them. Same like Snapchat, the messages will get disappear once your friends will swipe their through their lock screens.

Locket is the original concept developed and ScreenPop is evolved from it only, which includes paying for viewing ads running on lock screens. There are cons to this app, as it is not easy to give your friends direct access to your lock screen. Users can share offensive images also through it. Despite all these factors these Apps are able to find their audience and attract user of its kind.

Currently it is only for Android users, whereas APPLE has made huge strides in opening up iOS in past years, but it is not possible that developers will totally takeover iPhone lock screens.
