Apple Automobile is almost guaranteed, much more awaiting. Apple has been poaching people from the electric car battery business and the automobile design business.

- It comes with the iBattery – No need to ever replace it, as it’s not replaceable. Just buy a new iCar when it expires.
- The extra large 6” screen, while perhaps a bit smaller than competitors, is because Apple’s research has determined that size is ideal. Tim Cook was quoted as “We will never produce a car display over 6” – it would be far too confusing to have hundreds of application icons on a large screen. Since we invented finger motion, we’ve put it to good use. The 30 minute finger motion tracking seminar makes it easy to learn to get to those hundreds of pre-loaded applications while driving.”
- In a unique twist, they have gone Tesla one better with the iPedal. The first 1/3 of travel activates the brakes, the next 1/3 controls regeneration, and the final 1/3 works as an accelerator. “This is a huge advance. When you release the iPedal, it automatically activates ABS, maximum braking and puts the car in park. We think this will be a fundamental advantage that owners will come to love after they get used to it.” It should be noted that most owners destroy the first set of tires learning the iPedal and these are not covered under warranty.
- Of course Apple will include a replacement for Siri, called “Joe”. Just tell Joe where he can go, have Joe dial a phone, or even turn on your headlights. “Joe – Turn on headlights”, and just like Siri, it confirms each operation “Yes, turning car into the oncoming headlights”. We are still working on Joe, but we promise that v2 will be perfect.
- Keyless ignition using your iPhone. The iCar detects your iPhone and allows immediate access. Non-iPhone users are required to carry a physical key, and enter a 24 character password to start the car. For security, the password is automatically changed on each access to a new random 24 character password which is viewable only on an iPhone.
There are rumours that the Apple car division already has 200 people. Some new patents and trademarks seem to be popping up from Apple that can only make sense in a car. If Apple is not going to make an Apple Car soon, then they are wasting a lot of serious time, effort, money and people.
Apple is getting into the toughest businesses in the world and a category they know nothing about, answer is "Tesla".

Tesla Uniqueness
Tesla created the first true electric- battery-powered car that people wanted. Tesla cars could go upwards of 200 miles on a single charge (there's a psychological stress term for electric cars which can only go short distances). Tesla is the first company that sells its cars direct to customers, that is why eliminating the middleman and the entire nexus of car dealers (many advantages to this - better pricing, one on one contact with the customer, fantastic education for the buyer and none of the malpractices that car dealers bring to the customers). Tesla operates their service centres as a non-profit part of the business. Tesla picks up your car from your house when you need it serviced and the person who comes to pick it up drives in on a loaner Tesla car which he gives you to use while car is at your own repair shop. This is a company that has broken every rule of the automobile industry. This the main reason traditional car companies hate Tesla for it.
What Apple Will Bring That Tesla Hasn't?
I guess Apple has no need to bring anything different, for them its all about timing and this is the perfect time. Reason been they don't have to start from the scratch, people are ready for a car from a non-traditional car maker, the technology is ready for the first 300 mile range car for a price that makes sense for most buyers and the car is fast moving towards becoming a large electronic appliance rather than a mechanical beast. iCar is with incredible design, fantastic gadgetry inside, with the first car iOS that talks to all Apple products and some nifty never seen before features would be a child's play for the world's most cash rich company.
Release Date - Hoping that this will come into market as soon as 2020.
Pricing - No news is there about its pricing but may be it would cost similar like Tesla's latest car - as they are apparently now industry rivals. Tesla's 2015 Model S the company's latest model is costing 67,980 euro with the 'tech pack', something I guess an iCar would come as standard.
Tesla and some more companies are already filing law suites against Apple for luring away critical people from them. A strong rumour that Apple is about to buy out one of the biggest traditional car manufacturers is also picking up steam. Apple has already recruited Johann Jungwirth away from his position as head of Mercedes-Benz's Silicon Valley unit R&D unit. Finger crossed and may you will wait outside Apple office at 12 midnight for taking your first iCar.
