- It has solid state display which can boot it from standby in 0.3 seconds.
- More than 15.5 hours of battery life.
- It is weighing 1.34 kg and measuring in at 16.8 mm thick.
- It has 'multiflip' mode which allows to switch between tablet, laptop and 'viewing mode' - in this the screen faces away from the laptop.
- In Japan it is available on pre-order and it would cost around $1600.

- Company says that Z Canvas is VAIO's 'Monster Tablet'.
- Display of 12.1 inch.
- It has detachable keyboard.
- Its display is very good - 2560*1704 pixels and covers 95% of the Adobe RGB color gamut.
- Processor of Intel i7.
- 256 GB solid state display.
- A digitizer stylus and up to 1 TB of storage inside.
- This is expected to be available from the month of May and it would cost around $1800.
