Conglomerate - Toshiba and Compal Electronics

Toshiba is getting out of the North America television business market and selling out its brand to Taiwanese manufacturers Compal Electronics Co.

Don't be surprised after seeing the new televisions from the venture, they are expected to be out in March 2015. 

Toshiba has already switched more to outsourcing after axing the jobs in 2013. So the shift may turn out to be subtle.

Toshiba is focusing on building new business structure as the growth of the global television market is slowing down and continues to see the harsh price competition.

Now there plan is to "develop new technologies and services" while it works on securing a stable profit.
