Rumours are there that HTC is planning
to launch two new phablet versions – HTC
One E9 Plus and HTC One M9 Plus.
These will make their début on April 8 in Beijing, info leaked on the
Taiwanese firm’s Chinese website.
The new leaked images by @upleaks made it clear that there are
two new HTC One M9 variants – a plastic phone HTC One E9 Plus and a premium
version showing a fingerprint scanner
which is HTC One M9 Plus.
At present things are not very much
clear about specifications and pricing, still things are confusing but
according to rumours we are speculating.
The HTC One E9 Plus is likely to be a
less powerful and plastic version of the HTC One M9. It’s not easy to guess the
price, the HTC One M9 itself costs 575 euro, so the HTC One M9 Plus could be anything from 650
euro to 700 euro.
As per rumours came from 4G News, the phablet would
have:-
- 5.5 inch edge to edge Quad-HD screen
- Front facing BoomSound speakers
- 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 810 chip
- Adreno 430 graphics
- 3GB of RAM, plus 32GB of storage
- At the rear of the phone there would be a 20MP camera
- At the front a 4MP Ultrapixel model
- 3000mAh battery
- HTC Sense 7.0 would be installed alongside Android Lollipop
At TENAA
the HTC One E9 Plus is spotted recently, following specs are leaked on it:-
- A plastic phone with 5.5 inch Quad HD screen
- 2GHz 64 bit octa-core MediaTek chip
- It’s a dual-SIM phone
- Measures 156.5*76.5*7.54mm
- 2800mAh battery
- There may be two versions – one with 4MP UltraPixel camera and the other one with a standard 13MP snapper

According to a report published in
French tech site Nowhereelse.fr,
the HTC One M9 Plus will come out with a display that will be larger than the
HTC One 9. The phone will be powered with an MT 6795T MediaTek 64-bit octa-core
processor and a PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU. It is said that it will come with 3GB
of RAM, 20-megapixel camera and 32GB of built-in storage. This model is going
to support a fingerprint scanner, a special feature that has not been includes on
the HTC One M9.
Some predictions are also there, like
the HTC One M9 Plus is going to take on the likes of the Galaxy Note 4 and the
iPhone 6 Plus.
There currently no word on release date
