LG G4 - Expected To Be Unveiled On April 28th
LG, is going to announce its latest smartphone, the G4 Smartphone, at an event on April 28th. The electronic giant confirmed this via invites to the press today. The device will be available in six cities: New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul.
LG has released a teaser video of the LG UX 4.0 which will come with the next generation device. LG UX 4.0 is a simple and intuitive UX to everyone, as well as easy to use, features that provide a high level of functionality as a specialized unit through the user settings. Special features like letting users take pictures even when the phone is locked by double clicking the volume button.
In video, image of the back camera highlighting its lens' aperture - confirmation of the fast f/1.8. LG's lens lets in a whole 11% more light than the f/1.9 lens on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Before the LG G4 was expected to be release in Mobile World Congress 2015 but that didn't happen. Check out the rumours that have surfaced so far. Few of the anticipated specs are reveal by the reports till yet:
- 5.6/5.7/5.9 inch screen
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 810
- 32 GB internal memory and 3 GB of RAM
LG is aiming to double-up its high end phone offerings with another swanky release later this year. Hopefully LG has learned its lesson and the G4 will have the execution to go along with the promises.
